First dates can be stressful. And coming up with first date questions without sounding like you are interrogating your date can be tough

Spring Has Sprung
Well kind of. The start of March usually sees us in fake Spring, so we still need our warm winter clothes. But it’s also time to shop for some lovely spring dresses and lighter casual clothes. But don’t forget to take a rain jacket with you.
I absolutely love this Hope & Ivy Carmen embroidered midi dress in cream available from ASOS. It would also be great for a summer wedding guest outfit.
And Just Like That
If you’ve had your little Sex In The City reboot fan moment and lusted over Carrie Bradshaw all over again, then you might want to pay homage to your girl with your own name necklace. I’ve had mine for a while now and I love it. It doesn’t tarnish and it’s small and delicate enough to look pretty and not tacky. This would also make a lovely Mothers Day gift.
New Kicks Who Dis!
Fancy trainers aren’t just for your teenagers. And the Alexander McQueen Platforms are still so lust-worthy even though they’ve been around a while now. They can be worn with just about everything and come in a huge range of colour options. I’m loving these pastels for Spring.
Best Of The Dupes
When it comes to lookalikes at a fraction of the price these Chanel dupes are A-maz-ing! I’m not usually a fan of dupes as many of them look nothing like the original. But these are a thing of beauty. And very Spring esq. Worn casual with jeans or added to your workwear wardrobe with straight leg or cigarette trousers. ASOS has come up trumps with these.
Some dupes are close enough whilst still looking gorgeous anyway. I love this Alessandra Rich boucle skirt but if the budget doesn’t allow this Miss Selfridge one is just as gorgeous. And very on-trend at the moment. I also think the boucle fabric looks great on us slightly older women and is very classy.
These Boots Are Made For Walking
Actually, with such a high heel they probably aren’t that great for walking in, but a good pair of knee boots are a solid investment since they go with loads of things and trend-wise they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. And now that the fashion gods have blessed us with chunky heels we no longer have to take our lives in our hands on a night out!
Don’t Forget Your Jacket
Spring can sometimes fool us so don’t forget to take your jacket out with you. And Spring lets us wear beautiful trenches that keep us dry in the showers but not too warm so that we get a sweat on. Obviously, when it comes to trenches, Burberry is iconic and I am in love with this classic with pink trim. Beautiful and practical. I shall be praying to the jacket gods for this one.
Blazer Babe
A beautiful well-cut blazer is a must-have at the moment, in just about every colour. It’s not just about having a black one. I love this pink one for adding a touch of colour to your work outfit or popping it over your casuals, jeans or dress. And you don’t have to spend a fortune either. This ASOS slim boy blazer is a barain.
Beauty Bargain
I spotted this beauty bundle Easter Egg on Lookfantastic the other day and couldn’t hit buy quick enough. A massive haul of beauty essentials worth £217 for only £65. This would make a great Mothers Day gift or just a treat for yourself. Either way, it’s a massive saving on some amazing products. The Elemis Superfood Balm is a staple item in my daily routine.
Splurge Of The Month
If there is one thing in your entire wardrobe that is worth a good splurge, it’s a handbag. Not just any old handbag. But a beautiful, probably very expensive, designer item that if well cared for will last you years. And always look iconic. The trick when buying a very expensive designer handbag is to go with a more classic design and not something that is too “trendy” that you won’t like in a year’s time. The bright colours and odd designs may tempt your inner magpie, but classic handbags can also become good investment pieces. So spend wisely. Leave the big colours to the youngsters to waste their money on.
I am currently lusting over this little Versace Shoulder Bag. This version has some colour but it is available in more neutral options. But the design is sticking and iconic so I doubt I’ll hate in anytime soon.
